Where exactly are you?

At 186 N Marina Dr #4601, Long Beach, CA 90803. Alamitos Bay Landing sits on Marina Drive, on the water near the corner of Pacific Coast Highway and 2nd Street, alongside Alamitos Bay Marina. Naples is across the water, Belmont Shore is a short drive west, and the Seal Beach line is just to the east.

Where do we park?

Parking is free, on site, a few steps from the boats. Visit Long Beach describes free public and overflow parking running from Alamitos Bay Landing down to 2nd Street, with valet available on weekends. Spaces marked in red are reserved for boat owners, so pick any other space.

On weekends and holidays, leave a few extra minutes for parking, and carpool if you are bringing a big group.

Can we get there without a car?

Yes. Long Beach Transit buses serve the area, and the city’s water taxis run in season. Visit Long Beach also lists bikes, taxis and rideshare as ways to reach the landing; for a ride, set your destination to our street address.

When are you open?

Mon–Tue Closed · Wed–Thu 12pm–8pm · Fri–Sun 10am–8pm. Hours can change with the season. The booking calendar on Peek always shows the times that are open, and you can book online at any hour.

What happens when we arrive?

Check in at the office first. That is where you pick up the free popcorn, children under 12 get their life vests, and you can buy ice for $7 a bag if you did not bring your own. Then head down to the dock. The Dock Master takes your boat to the end of the dock, hands the keys to your driver, and walks you through the controls and the map before you set off.

Coming with a big group?

Book all your boats in one go, so they leave at the same start time, and ask everyone to arrive together: each boat needs its own driver who is 21 or older. If your group is larger than 12, the group planner tells you how many boats to book, and team outings has tips for running several boats at once.

If someone in your group uses a mobility aid or needs help boarding, call us before you book so we can talk through the dock and the boat. The accessibility page has more.

When should we arrive?

30 minutes before your start time, with your whole party. That covers parking, check-in at the office and life vests for any children under 12, so your boat leaves on time.

What else is at the landing?

Alamitos Bay Landing has restaurants and shops along the water, so there is somewhere to eat before or after your cruise. If you would rather eat on the boat, bring your own food and cooler, or call us about the local vendors who deliver food and décor for rentals.
