Pricing
One price per boat, whatever the head count: $125 for one hour or $250 for two, for up to 12 guests on a 21-foot enclosed Duffy. No per-person charge, no charge for parking.
Plan your group
Enter your head count, children and babies included, and pick one or two hours. Each boat holds up to 12.
Several boats at the same start time depend on availability, which the booking calendar shows live. Groups larger than our 22-boat fleet: call (562) 598-2628.

What is included in the price?
- The boat. A 21-foot electric Duffy with a roof and windows all the way around, for one or two hours. See the fleet for the full specs.
- Life jackets. Adult life jackets are aboard every boat. Children’s and infant vests come from the front office at check-in, and every child under 12 wears one.
- The launch. The Dock Master takes your boat to the end of the dock, then hands you the keys with a quick tutorial and a map of the sights.
- Parking. Free, on site, a few steps from the boats.
- Popcorn. Fresh and free in the office.
There is no charge per guest. Twelve people on one boat pay the same as two people on one boat, which is why a full boat is the cheapest way to go.
What costs extra?
Ice is $7 a bag in the boat shop. You are welcome to bring your own ice and your own cooler instead.
Local vendors deliver food and décor for rentals. Their prices are their own, so call (562) 598-2628 and we will point you to them.
How does the price work for a big group?
Every boat holds up to 12 people, so a group pays for the number of boats it needs. The planner above does the arithmetic: enter a head count, children and babies included, and pick one or two hours. The table shows the common sizes.
Booking several boats works the same way as booking one. In the Peek calendar, set the number of boats before you pick a time. Several boats at the same start time depend on what is still open that day, so book large groups early, especially for weekends and holidays. Team outings covers how to run a group across several boats.
What are the booking rules?
- Prices are per boat. Peek books by the boat, so every booking shows “1 adult.” That is normal.
- 12 people per boat at most, children and babies included.
- The renter and the driver must both be 21 or older. Passengers can be any age.
- Rentals run one or two hours.
- Arrive 30 minutes before your start time with your whole party, so the boat leaves on schedule.
- Damage. A $100 damage charge applies to damage caused during your rental, as set out in the booking terms.
- Bring back the boat on time. Your rental ends at the time on your booking.
The rules and packing list has the full list, and the terms are the formal version.
What if we need to cancel?
All sales are final. If weather closes the bay, we move your rental to another day. If something comes up, call (562) 598-2628 as early as you can.
How does this compare with other ways onto the water?
A Duffy is priced by the boat and you drive it yourself, so there is no captain’s fee and no per-head ticket: one price covers everyone aboard. How we compare lays out the facts about our fleet, and our guide to Duffy, pontoon and captained boats explains the trade-offs.
Can I give a rental as a gift?
Yes. Gift cards are sold through Peek in $50, $100, $150 or $250, or any amount you choose. A $250 card matches the price of two hours on one boat.
Where do I pay?
Online, when you book through Peek. This website never takes payment; the Book Online buttons hand you to Peek’s secure checkout. You can also call (562) 598-2628 to talk through a booking first.
